dikemukakan dalamseminar Information Literacy Master and Doctoral Universiatas
Indonesia. Salah satu yang terpenting dalam memasukan jurnal ilmiah dalam karya
tulis ilmiah (thesis, artikel ilmiah, maupun disertasi) adalah ranking jurnal tersebut.
Lebih baik untuk menelusuri data jurnal ilmiah tersebut, dalam beberapa jejaring
mengurut berdasarkan ranking jurnal. Dan dalam jejaring tersebut juga telah
diklasifikasikan dalam beberapa bidang-bidang studi tersendiri. Adapun
kategori-kategori ranking dari jurnal tersebut dibagi dalam A*, A, A-, B, C, and D. Berikut
